Blast Open the Grave is a new collection I worked on for about a month. The colors I picked here in the main logo ended up being from a trendy color scheme I found on Adobe Color Picker, it resembles the 80's/90's. Enjoy!

Rough Drafts
I made the logo in Adobe Illustrator and iterated through paintings, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. I implemented an outline to make it cohesive and I added a cross to illustrate Christ's love for us all.
Final Design:
I implemented an outline to make it stand out against other backgrounds, unifying elements of the text. Ultimately this design is eye-catching and could be used as a great testimony for those who believe in Christ. Because that's what Jesus does, He always does, blasts open our graves, our idols, our sins. So we can be with Him, forever. Praise the Lord!

I implemented a border and a cross at the top. I wanted the border to represent a tombstone, and after numerous iterating the secondary variant logo was born. I changed the sharp corners to a 45-degree angle for a more cohesive look. the typeface itself is similar to on-trend apparel logos viewed on certain apparel.
